Description:
We're trying something new!

A lot of our clients have told us they want a place, simply to meet others, have meaningful conversations, talk and learn from one another, and grow. An opportunity to meet with others in a safe group setting. Not just a special interest group, not just a peer support group, not just a therapy group, not just AA. More like an organic group that moves with the needs of its members. A facilitated group with no other specific focus other than to connect learn skills, support, and grow together.

We'll start this off as a 5-week group, meeting Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm at our Downtown clinic. If there is interest in continuing on, we'll see where it takes us!

Our hope is to have consistent attendance.

Ron Depner RCC-ACS, MC

Ron is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the Clinic Director for The Therapy Place. He brings a non-judgmental, clinically-trained lens to his work but mostly he enjoys just people being real in therapy... including himself. He's a dad of two girls and loves being outdoors.

Sarah is in the final stages of her Masters program and is excited to help facilitate this group! She's worked for years as an RN and has loads of life and clinical experience. She's a mom of two and she loves laughter and serious chats in equal measure.
