A Safe Space for Expression and Exploration

As an art therapist, I am passionate about using creative expression as a pathway for healing, growth, and connection. Art therapy brings together the benefits of psychotherapy and the power of creativity, offering a way to explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. Art therapy offers a supportive approach for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. No artistic knowledge or experience is required to benefit from art therapy.

I hold a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies and specialize in working with neurodiverse children and youth. My approach is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming, disability-positive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive perspective. I value curiosity, play, and special interests as important tools in the therapeutic process, and I strive to create a safe space where clients can express themselves freely and authentically.

In our work together, art therapy can support a wide range of needs, including:

  • Developing healthy coping strategies

  • Building self-worth and self-confidence

  • Exploring identity and personal narrative

  • Strengthening emotional resilience and regulation

  • Fostering self-compassion and self-efficacy

  • Supporting social connection and skill building

  • Reducing stress and processing trauma

Above all, I am committed to client-centered care that honours dignity, celebrates individuality, and encourages authentic self-expression. Together, we can use creativity as a powerful tool for healing and growth.
