Guiding Change, One Conversation at a Time

As a counsellor, I support individuals, couples, and families in navigating the universal challenges of being human. While many struggles are shared, each person’s experience is unique, so my work is always person-centered and tailored to the individual. I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Existential Therapy, choosing the approaches that best support each client’s goals. I believe meaningful change comes from a strong therapeutic relationship, clear collaborative goals, and practical strategies that clients can carry into their daily lives.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent several years as an industrial supervisor leading large work crews. When an economic slowdown created space for reflection, I chose to return to university and pursue my passion for psychology and supporting people in their mental health journeys.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy coaching my daughter’s lacrosse teams, hiking with my family and our two puppies, and raising backyard chickens — activities that keep me grounded, curious, and connected.
