I’m a counselling intern who brings a wealth of life experience and a compassionate, client-centered approach to my work. I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build resilience, and foster positive change.

Before pursuing counselling, I spent many years working in the dental field and understand the unique stressors that individuals face in both personal and professional settings. My background also includes teaching at Vancouver Island University, where I developed a strong foundation in communication, education, and mentorship—skills that now enhance my ability to connect with clients.

Having completed over a year of internship experience, I’m committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals. My holistic perspective and dedication to empowering people make me a supportive ally on the path to emotional well-being.
